Check out this article. It talks about a phone that can take a picture, and then send it to another cell phone as MMS, along with a MAP pinpointing the location of where the picture was taken! Who comes up with this stuff?! Only in Japan as they say.

You know...800mhz....technically if you can reporgram the chip, you should be able to get it to work on 800/1900 mhz in the US. Those fools, I tell you! ( I don't think there's any analog circuitry in there though, since japan (and korea and china and hong kong) don't have any analog networks to back up their digital networks anymore. They already reclaimed part of the frequency.)

if u really want to see the newest japanese phone that are in the market, go to http://k-tai.impress.co.jp. download the japanese language pack, and everyday this page (excluding weekends) is updated with the latest keitai news from japan. they show the newest KDDI, J-Phone, and DoCoMo phones. they even have the new phone from DoCoMo that can take pictures over its i-shot service. they also have 'strap of the day', which i find interesting every day. oh how i wished i lived in japan.

Yep, either that or go to japan. Since i haven't gone to Japan in a few months, I'll just look at the website.
