P800 and HCB-30 issue

Have the HCB-30 BT Car Kit installed and working, with my wife's P800 at times there is a bad echo even with the car motionless. My P900 is also paired to the HCB-30 and does not have this issue so I do not believe it is a issue with where the mic and speaker are located. The P800 firmware is as follows.
Phone: R2D
BT: R5A
Organizer: R2B03
CDA: R4A02
Will a firmware upgrade help?
Opinions or suggesitons please.

I have old firm and no problem with HCB30.
