(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

hey, i've decided to upgrade myself to a p900 and like many others around these boards, now i'm all anxious and dont want to wait to terribly long.

anybody know where a kid can get a p900 for $825 or less? In a day or so? (expansys is a week+ out of stock)...

I dont necessarily need a us release model, as long as it's unlocked.

thanks

I called up the guys at http://www.phonewarehouse.com (web availability of these phones is always sketchy) and talked to a guy named Blaine. He was able to get me one from another distributor.

I think I paid somewhere around $849, but you might be able to negotiate.

Fun phone.

That's EXACTLY where I got mine. For $849 too. Since I am in Houston & so is Phone Warehouse, I actually have been to this store. This is the best mobile phone shop in Houston. Really.

there is a place here in NYC (i actually got my p800 there) i walked by tonight on my way home from the studio, they have a sign in the window that they have p900's in stock... i will call em tomorrow and see how much they want for one.

The P900 should be released in the US within 2 weeks. Thes will be phone allocated for the US with full warranties. (not grey market) We will carry them. They will sell for less than $800.

I called SE yesterday to put one on "reserve" and the first rep I spoke with, whom was very friendly, put me on hold and came to the line to tell me they should be shipped within 2 weeks. I called back several times during the day to get other rep's responses and all said that they didn't know when it would be released.

The first phone rep seemed more knowledgeable and trustworthy than the others even though she told me what I wanted to hear.

SE website offers the P900 for $799 which is higher than others I've seen.

I'm with Sprint now and am patiently waiting to switch to a GSM carrier within the next few weeks when number portal becomes available in my area.

Good luck, you will enjoy the switch. I switched from SprintPCS using the number portability to T-mobile when I got my P900 in December. You will love your new phone. Also, if you switch to t-mobile you will enjoy the free unlimited internet!

Hopefully an SE upgrade will do the trick, otherwise its gonna really suck. Then again, you can always learn Chinese so you can use your phone.

Try J&R Computers as they are a reputable source for all kinds of electronics. www.jandr.com

The P900 is a wonderful phone.

I second this... If I hadn't purchased my P900 already through the SE Developer's Group (months ago) I wouldn't hesitate to get one through Sung and Rick. They're really great guys to do business with.

Looks like the P900 is now available online for the US market.

I've added the phone to my shopping basket and it says that it's already instock. Check it out!!!
