Car Tinting

I just got a car tint today and the guy said DO NOT WASH FOR 24 HOURS. Unfortunately, we had a rain today in Toronto eventhough I haven't heard anything about it in the Weather Channel(damn b a s t a r d s)

so my question is that what can happen to tint after this rain? What should I do? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

btw, it was a light rain.

I think you can have bubbling or peeling with cold wet weather.. I'm not 100% sure but I heard something like this before too. Try not to use the windows for about a week too if possible.. Let the film dry out first.

I will just see what happened tomorrow in the morning.

yeah, they also said do not use windows for one to two weeks.Thank god I have A/C

I got mine at tint king missisauga location...in their website they recommend two weeks..but they guy told me around 10 days should be fine...the funny thing is that I just rolled down today when I went into the drive thru ..oh well, nothing happened yet...

I remember after I got my car tinted and went through drive-through's and parking places, having to open my door up and getting the strangest looks.. LOL..

Try at least a week without operating your windows. They need to dry out..

apparently it is ok, if the grade of tint is not dark enough that the officer can not see u. he'll pull u over if he can't see a thing.

man, don't bother putting those sheets of tint on the glass, smoke the glass or go with tints done at the factory only. LOL j/k

It's illegal to have ANY tint on your front 2 windows in BC. Although I got all the windows done because it looks better IMO
