Hey people, I recently switched providers and was wondering if there is any way to reset the sanyo 4900 back to the way I bought it? I would like to get rid of all #'s, get back the stuff I deleted, get rid of my phone #, etc. I do have a data cable, but don't have any software for it. Thanks for the help.

I haven't tried it, and I'm not responsible if you hose your phone.

First, you should read micosan's post of 2-13-04.

What I did yesterday before I exchanged my 5500 was hit ##786, and under one of the menus is "reset default". The only thing is, I forgot to check if the phone book gets erased. I think it does since it "resets the phone to factory defaults".
