On Verizon's site about the 8900 size

Based on the Verizon website, the 8900 should be the exact same size as the 8600 and should be near the size of the Samsung 530.
I only saw pics and the specs on the 8900, so I was dying to finally get my hands on one. I didn't even think twice about waiting to look at one in person, and when I actually did go mid-January, they weren't available. I finally open up the box after ordering through the sales rep that helped everyone at work with their discounts and whatnot, only to reveal a phone similar in size to my old t720 and my boss's VX6000.
I like the phone for all the other features, and I like the fact that no one else has the 8900.
: Should I stick w/ the 8900, go for an 8600 or complain and try to get some money back?
Almost any ideas would help

The 8600 and the A530 are similar in length and width but the 8600 is thinner so it has the smallest volume. The volume of the 8900 is actually smaller than the A530. It's larger in length and width but thinner. The VX6000's volume is like that of a tank compared to any of these three phones. For the record the A530 is 4.77 cubic inches. The 8600 is 4.31 cubic inches. The 8900 is 4.53 and the 6000 is 6.39. All this data is from the dimensions shown on Phonescoop.
I'd rather have a phone slightly larger in length and width, but thinner so it's easier to carry in a pocket.

I love these boards. The members always have a way of making me feel better about my purchase.
But yeah... it still doesn't explain why Verizon put the exact same 8600 dim'sions on the 8900. You hold the two phones in your hand to show someone, and there's a clear difference.
Thanks, anyway NTM22

Keep it...I have the LG vx6k while my wife uses the 8900. I often wish the vx6k was as small as the 8900...
