8900 caller id help

My caller id on my 8900 stopped working the other day. I've had the phone for a little over a month and it has worked perfectly up until yesterday. Now every incoming call displays nothing. I read the previous post concerning this issue, but I don't think it applies to me because all of my contacts are programmed with the area code in there, and it has worked fine all this time.
After I receive a call and go to my recent calls list, it first shows it blank, then checking again it shows it as one of my identified contacts, but the incorrect one, and keeps on switching.
Other noteable, when I receive a text message, the caller id works for that. my s/w version is t095vedt20_0.189
any help would be greatly appreciated.
