Contacts synch switching names?

I've come across a curious bug: on some of my contacts (could not
find any common denominator), when synching with the P900 (BT) - the first name and last name get switched around (and then obviously sorted in the wrong place). Anyone ever see this before? any remedy?

Never seen that. Double-check that both settings are the same in the phone and pc.

Not only are the settings identical but it has worked perfectly for quite a few synchs. Hint - those who had the name switched also "lost" their categories so for some reason the synch program did not find the originals on the pc(erased by an unseen hand??) and then they were switched and copied from the phone to the PC.
