eBay batteries any good???

I was curious if anyone has any experience with the extended 1600amh batteries for the SCP 8100 that are for sale on eBay? There seem to be readily available and very inexspensive...some as cheap as $6 (excluding shipping). Are these a legit product or are they too good to be true?

Thanks for your input,

Craig

When it comes to anything that has to do with the charging/power of the phone I always say stick with OEM. You don't want to end up frying your phone.

Yeah I pretty much feel the same way, but I figured I'd ask anyhow. I searched for OEM batts on eBay and didn't find many.

BTW-How do you like your Treo? I almost got one, but decided I'd rather put the extra money towards a laptop.

I love the Treo.

Best phone I've even owned.

Have you every had a phone "fried from the battery" The problem with batteries appears to be not enough power, not too much---

I have no expericne with 8100 batteries, but the x batteries for the 6400 that I got are great---

I ain't gonna pay $80 for a oem battery,

I used ebay batteries on my StarTAC when the original was gettin' weak. The ebay batteries, even tho rated higher then the original, didn't last nearly as long. In fact, the "extended" ebay battery lasted about as long as the Motorola "slim" battery.

Werd. I have had zero good experiences with eBay batteries.

Yeah I've used batteries bought from ebay and have had good luck with them. Of course I don't know how they would perform long term as I tend not to keep a phone longer then 6 months.

Actaully, my 8100 has an extended battery that I bought on eBay and to be honest, I have not had any problems with it what so ever!

For 14.00 bucks, it lasts about 10 days on standby and gets me about 6 hours talk time!

I'd be interested in a known good supplier.

Check this lady's (Natalie) ebay seller store out, she has great Sanyo prices. I have purchased from her before and gotten exactly as stated - get ready to have your socks blown off! All the stuff is exactly the same as you would buy at the sprint store:
