sup everyone!!! i need some major help!!! Im really interested in the gx22....and I wanted to see some graphics and pictures of the menu's ect ect.....most of all if anyone can post a picture of how the photo phonebook looks like along with the picture caller id!!I wanna see how the peoples picture would look like when theyre calling. I've been looking all over for a phone that can do that feature.. I'm Trying to get rid of my samsung v205 to get a gx22.......BUT I NEED TO SEE HOW it looks......SO IF ANYOne CAN PLEASE SHOW ME SOME PICTURES AND TELL ME IF GX22 phones are worth it. could really help me alot!! thanks

hey! you are walking the same path as i did....

i used to have that samsung phone and i swap it for the sharp GX22.. trust me.. no regrets!!!!!!!!

the only thing is.. well, the size and in some cases the out look of the phone.. my gf actually thought that the samsung looked better in appearance... but if you actually like the look of the GX22.. and wouldn't mind the fact that it's a little longer than your samsung... GO FOR IT~!!!!! i did that and it's all good..

Tried to take some pics of the caller id but my canon powershot s10 just doesn't do justice to the phone's display. Guess i need a new digi cam (hehe my gx22 takes better pictures than my powershots10)

caller id pic is fullsized...look something like this...ofcouse it also depends on who is calling.

and in person you will not see that moire pattern at all. The screen is razor sharp

I'm using a non-Telco Silver Silver GX22S, when flip open, it doesnt show any logo, just the words CG Silicon below the screen.

For external Caller ID, i crop most picture to 80w x 60h pixel and it will fit nicely.

RCube, where did u get your phone? I got GX22s and my bottom right icon for the camera is different than yours. Did you change it, and if so, how did you do it?

If im right that button should be a button for smartone downloading service (Like Vodafone Live)

Yeah it is a link hardcoded to the smartone wap site. Kinda sucks when you are not on smartone. Since it doesnt' do anything.
