the back is easy just - psuh button and slip off phone -

for the front - you need to take the four plast cushy plugs out (i used a pin) and use a t6 screwdriver on he screws you uncover - and then its simple just take off the old one - place the new one on and boom - rescrew drivers - replace plugs if you want and new faceplate

I've found that a T-7 driver works better.

I just installed a black faceplate and black flashing antenna. I'm very happy with the results. I bought my faceplate on ebay from eforcity.

LOL there is 1 in every corner.

he's probably looking at the bottom (battery cover side). you have to look around the lcd screen man. all 4 are there. the bottom slides off, you dont need to touch those

lol Thanks guys. I got it now!

Do I just ruin those rubber things with a pin? Is there a way I can safely remove those and still make them functional?

Has anyone purchased V300 faceplates from Daydeal.com? If so are they good quality? Do they scratch easily?

(Non-transparent ones)

If you are happy with a V300 faceplate that you have purchased please let me know where you got it.

Thanks

I got a black glossy one with my cable for like $3 total off eBay, think the guys name was eforcity or something like that. Anyways, I just put on the black faceplate tonite, it looks absolutely stunning. Blacks defintiely the best color for it.

A place called Sears & Roebuck..... They sell tools and stuff.... Get the whole set.. Lifetime warranty.

PS: Their "companion line does NOT have a lifetime warranty. Make sure to buy the Craftsman labeled stuff)
Stuff off Ebay does NOT have a lifetime warranty.. and if it did you have to pay shipping back, etc.... With Sears stuff just take it back to any Sears store for a no hassle exchange.

You can also try Snap-On, Mac, and Matco Tools... but they're about 5-10 times the cost of Craftsman tools.
