I tried searching but to no avail.

I'm wondering if theres a way to set an mp3 or something to that effect to the power up/down tones on the vx6000. I looked around the file system for a mmf or qcp or qcelp or mid or mod or any of them popular phone sound files but i couldn't find anything sides my own ringers/sounds and the sounds used by MobileIM and other such apps.

Its severely depressing, for i found all kinds of slick sound wav's from Super Mario Bro's 1 i could use for such an application, but no, i have to listen to some fairy crud while watching some ******* kid in scuba goggles sneer at me in defiance.

There's a few things one cannot do on the phone, i.e. the "Vib & High" irremovable text, that make me wonder if the filesystem shown in bitpim shows everything on the phone or otherwise... Or due to my lack of knowledge considering hex editing and the like do i simply not understand the complexities of finding such code in such an elaborate device.

At any rate, any help or advice or general ranting to alieviate excessive stupidity in my future posts would be much appreciated.
