Sorry for the double post, should have included this in my power up/down tone post but i had forgotten about this issue till now.
I have been trying to send some bitmaps to my phone (lgvx6000) using a data cable (lg1200) and when i try to view them, they simply show up blank. I have searched many-a-thread in the forum and have found other people with the same problem, yet i did not see any solutions.
I'm using bitpim to transfer the files. I have tried using the wallpapers function of the program, as well as just sending it through the file system. I have tried the whole tutorial for putting pics on the phone with no border, but to no avail. When i send a jpeg version of one of the images it shows up fine, however with the dreaded white borders of death. I put one bitmap on the phone a while back, just sent it and bam, beautiful pic with no borders. These other bitmaps have the same exact file settings (120x131,etc). I recall not how this feat was performed by myself in the past. I also tried just pix msging a bmp to myself, but it does the same thing $0.25 later. Also tried putting the bmp in a pix msg and then saving to the graphics folder again. No dice.
Thank you for any advice provided.

I'm gonna go right ahead and answer my own question. These images i downloaded off the net at the size of 120x131. After resizing one to 120x160 to see if that would show up, it did indeed, however it did not fill the whole screen, as one would expect. After resizing it back to 120x131, and sending it to the phone, it showed up fine.
Testing on another image, i simply opened the original 120x131 in paint, resized it to something else, saved, resized it back to 120x131, saved, sent to phone and viola!
Explanations are overrated, solutions work for me.
