Voice Recorder to Ringtone on Phone?

Has anyone found out a way to record a song through the voice recorder of the phone and then transfer that into a ringtone for your phone?

I can record a song, but the playback only plays through my earpiece and not through the phone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

create a new pix message, and message yourself the voice recorded sound, then when you get the message in your inbox you can save it as a ringtone

This has been covered before (on a VX6000 at least). You don't need to send it, just hit end and save it.
