does anyone know where to download a free sound recorder that can convert wav to ima adpcm 16khz 4 bit mono? ive searched for a long time.. the sound recorder on my pc can convert to 8khz, 11khz, and 22khz but not 16khz.. the .WAV ringtones sound best with 16khz (or so i heard)... pls pls help! tnx so much!

4-bit?! That's got to be a misprint. 4-bit sound would be unlistenable (8-bit is pretty horrid as it is).

nope its not a misprint.. 4bit 16khz mono wav on ima adpcm sounds great as a ringtone.. my friend wont tell me how she does it so.. m askin for help from u guys.. tnx! appreciate!

I too searching for this convertor, but...
I convert my mp3 or WAV or some other formats with WINAMP 2.9x There is one Output plug-in software. You can convert with it enyone sound file in IMA ADPCM or some else format. Wathever you want.
