I recently came back from a business trip in Korea and was really impressed with the high tech cell phones out there. I asked if they could be used in the US and the consensus was only if I had the chip changed here in the US.

Is this possible? I was looking at a CDMA2000 phone (SK IM6400), but am not a tech guru to know if this is a simple, difficult or impossible task.
