need to transfer my phonebook via ir from my nokia 3360 to a computer. Then transfer it from the computer to my new nec 525 phone
both have infared and was wondering if this is at all remotely possible
i wont be going phone to phone i will be going phone to computer to phone
from nokia to nec

Unfortunately, on the NEC phones the IR mode only works only between the 515 and the 525.
If you need to upload, first download from your nokia to outlook (not express) then use the sync software to upload to your NEC.
You will need a USB sync cable; look for the N8 sync cable on Ebay.
It is cheaper than the NEC525 cable and works just as well.
