Anyone uses msn messenger on their slider? I went to the wap site but then i have to choose which phone service I have and the number for them to text message me a password and I have no idea what to do because of course VM is not an option.

Thanks

Dunno if this will work or not, but try selecting Sprint as the provider. Virgin just re-sells access to Sprint's PCS network, and you can apparently receive SMS through the Sprint e-mail gateway (yournumber@sprintpcs.com or something like that) as well as the Virgin Mobile gateway (yournumber@vmobl.com).

Worth a shot - but it might not work.

i tried it and it never went through

first off you have to pay for the messenger service but to get it you have to tell msn.mobile what your number and service is. I had the same prblem as you but i fixed it by registering on their site where they had one link that said other services where you could enter in the email to your phone xxxxxxxxxx@vmobl.com

i actually got it on my slider once, what i did was i used my moms phone (verizon) and used the code it sent to her phone and it worked perfect, but now everytime i try and go back to it it says "forbidden", so i guess you can't do it

In order to get msn on cell phones [i.e. access friends list] you need to either have the program allready built in to the phone or pay $20 a month for the msn.
