Sanyo 6000 - Debug Mode / Holster

Hello,
Couple questions - has anyone figured out how to find the debug information screen on the Sanyo 6000 or 5000 yet? What normally worked on some phones, ##33284, menu, save, does nothing here. However, add one digit - AND IT CAN BE ANY DIGIT - and the phone will power off. It is some sort of important code obviously, but not the correct one. Example: ##332845, ##332848, ##33284# all power the phone off. Dunno what this means but I'd love to find that debug screen.
Secondly, I know it is early in the game but has anyone run across a holster or a good leather case for the 6k yet? If so, where can I find it?
Thanks very much for your assistance everyone

The ## is used to program the phone only, the numbers following the ## are the MSL which is specific to your model and only your service provider knows it. I purchased the leather case from the Sprint PCS website, but it is kind of cheesy, I wish they made a rubber case like they do for the 4500,s. The leather case makes the phone much bigger, making it pointless to have bought such a slim phone.

Extremely interesting, and thanks for your reply. I tried the ## with six random digits and it did the same thing - and I can't believe this didn't dawn on me sooner!
I originally thought that the ##33284 would have something to do with debug because that is how it worked on previous Sanyo phones as well as many others.
Now I have no idea where to even look for the debug screen, but I'd still be very interested in finding it.
Also, about the leather case, I was curious about that and will not purchase it from SPCS's website. I suppose I'll just have to wait awhile until some third-party accessories come out that add to the phone's elegance (if that is possible), rather than subtract from it.
Appreciate your help.

MSLs are six digits, not five. The MSL is not specific to the phone, it is specific to the provider in most cases (such as Sprint).

You are right the MSL is six digits long which is why when you enter it and select save the phone turns off and then turns on again. It would do the same with any combination of numbers 5 or six. There is a sl# which can be used only one time usually at the time of initial activation, the MSL "M" for Master is the number that works everytime regardless of how many times you have programmed the phone, and is different for all phones even if it is the same model phone. Therefore the MSL for my 6000 is different than everyone elses.
