On my sound forge 7.0 free trial version, it will not let me change mp3s because it tells me i have met my 20 song encoding list max. How do i get around this?

Hey, he wasn't being smart, he was being honest! Note the 'trial version' in the Sound Forge description..
There is a free program available called 'power MP3 cutter', that will allow you to cut down the length and size of an MP3 file. It isn't nearly as sophisticated as Sound Forge of course, but it does work for cutting down MP3 files. Just do a google search for it and I'm sure you'll find it.
