My free trial version of Sound Forge 7.0 still has 28 days left on it, but i cannot edit an Mp3 because it produces a message stating that i have used my maximum of 20 songs to encode and i have to buy the $500 version to do what i need to do.
Has anyone found a way around this through the settings of Sound Forge 7.0?
If nobody has a solution for my problem above, is there any other mp3 editing programs that i can use before sending the phone through bitpim and if you have a program, can you list out step by step the process you use for editing the mp3?
Thanks in advance guys!

is there alot of difference between the 2 versions?

No, there isn't much difference. Especially if all you're using it for is to make ringtones. I had a copy of version 1.0 that I used to make a couple ringtones before I got SoundForge 7.0.
