vx6000 connected to Toshiba e330

I have a LG vx6000 from Verizon. I purchased their Data cable (its an LG cable) which I connect to my Laptop and can connect via my cell phone to Verizon's internet.
I also have a Toshiba e330 PDA. I purchased the Toshiba USB host cable to allow me to connect USB devices to my PDA. When I connect my cell phone data cable, I get a message saying that I have an unidentified USB device and it asks for the driver. I've searched the web and found 2 or 3 sites that offer a data cable and was able to download and install their USB driver for PocketPC2002. I still get the error.
Toshiba, LG and Verizon all say they don't support this. Does anyone out there have a driver or know if this will work? I don't want to spend another 50 bucks to buy another data cable just to connect to my PDA.
