Hello do you think i can still find old sliders in stores like target and bestbuy with the old browser with the wap trick.Or do you think all the stores only carry the new ones?Thanks

Someone got an old Slider, ordered directly from VM, as lately as last week! So don't give up, just look around. Try not to be stoned when you do it, it helps. You can always smoke up afterwards.

It costs them money, VMvirginmobile, they buy blocks of minutes from Sprint and you being on WAP uses them up.

Is there a chance that VM is gonna get tired of us using the free wap and cut it off on the old sliders? Are they not canceling free wap because of a risk of screwing up virginxtras?

I went ahead and asked sellers on ebay what the 1st 5 digits of the ESN(06901) were and went ahead and bought on there for $130 sealed in box free shipping and no sales tax. I'm getting it on sat. I figure/hope the ESN means that it will have the old software on it. I drove about 50 miles in a huge circle visiting all the places that sold sliders to no avail.

the only way to stop the free wap as far as I know is to stop wap all together which wouldstop virgin extras

Yeah i also bought a battery off ebay because i didnt like the mtv symbol.Plus the new battery makes the phone look smooth without that mtv symbol.

Yeah i'm going to buy a battery later . I've heard they last longer as well
