Backing up GetItNow Games and Apps

I have the VX4400B and right now am using BitPim to backup the phonebook, wallpapers, ringtones, and calendar, but Ive bought a couple games and an app off GetItNow service and want to back them up since they are like $6 bucks each. Ive heard somethin about that bitpim can back them up too, but i dont see anything about it. Also once i do get them backed up, how would i restore them back to my phone?

Thanks a lot in advanced

Ok, so i just did a little test here. i downloaded a demo game. played it, then i went into bitpim and saved the .mif file, and did a backup of the corresponding game directory. then i deleted the game from the phone using GIN's manage menu. and went into the secret menu and reset the GIN log. i then went back into the file system and added the .mif file into the brew directory, then created a subdirectory in the brew folder, and named it the name of the .mif file. then right clicked on the directory i just created and then clicked restore. then choose the .zip file that was created when i first backed up the game directory. i then power cycled the phone and went back into GIN and the game appeared exactly as it was before.

I bet if somebody was to purchase an "unlimited" game off of GIN, and then back it up the same way as described, then if i tried to restore it as described, i bet it would work.

If anybody has an unlimited game and would like to try this, please PM me or respond to this post. this is the only way i can think of on getting around GIN.

Hey berserker, i think you could be on to something. could u send me the .mif file and the corresponding folder? its not supposed to work on different phones, but i wanna try to get around it. i was browsing my secret menu, and i noticed the "subsriber ID" on there, maybe if i changed we had matching ones, the mif would work?
