I have the 8 digit unlock code for my S46 but have not been able to determine the correct format for entering. Also do I need to input code with SIMCard in or removed?

Any suggestions?

Placed S46 in "GSM" mode
Tried*#0000*XXXXXXXX# with SIMCard removed.
Unlock successful.

I purchased a Siemens S46 ATT and am interested to unlock and use with any other operator here in US or in Europe....!
Pls. can somebody assist me.
1. Is that possiblke?
2. If ATT does not allow you to do it can we address the issue to Siemens USA.
