Slider Breaking...

Has anyones slider broke from sliding it too much or too hard?....because i've read on other forums that the slider is very fragile!

Anything that moves repeatedly is prone to break.
However, it stands to reason that the designers of the phone took that into account. Flip phones open and shut all day, and occasionally a flip comes loose, but not often. I wouldn't worry.
