hello, does freia work with the original siemens data cable? because when i connect it to the computer and try to read flash from the phone (firmware) it connects and then says "boot code does not seem to be running"

then say "waiting to power on the phone",

then later says "phone is not powered on". but the phone is powered on. is there a specific way to use freia? do u have to do something with the phone?

can someone tell me how to use this? using the gui version...

what phone do you have? you most probably need a NON ORIGINAL usb or serial data cable. (usb preferred).
they cost about AUD$50 (US$ about 25)

but it has to be a non siemens brand.

btw.. i tried to flash my a55 and its ruined now.
i wouldnt ever do it again, thats just my advice.

The phone have to be OFF in order to get freia to work
turn the phone off and when it says "waiting to power on the phone" just push the power buton on the phone but dont power it on
About the "boot code does not seem to be running" I am not shure but try in the configuration cheking "bootcore bug"

for the quick eprom i used a siemens cable purchased at at&t wireless store for $40 and it worked fine

it was concluded that using a oem data cable wouldnt work with freia to unlock. did you try searching, cause i could swear we just did a great post about how to
