Investigation?

I emailed Virgin to see if they could reset my browser, cause I get the message, IP Address missing everytime that I try to use the internet. (and, yes, I tried re-entering the IP address, and port #s) Anyway, the email said that I needed to call them so that they could verify that it was really me. So, I did, and they have no idea what the problem is. So, now they are doing an investigation. Has anyone else ever had them tell you they are doing an investigation on your phone?

bad selection of words....they're probably just figuring out why your phone isn't working

maybe....maybe they're checking out what all you do on your phone frequently, like checking to see how many hours of wap you're logged them...

It'll reset itself after a couple of days. I accidently wiped my ip out and couldn't re-enter it. After a couple of days my wap just started working again.

I have one of the phones with the free Wap. Do you think that they can take that away? Can they turn if off?

Without updating the firmware, I don't think there is any way for them to stop you as long as they keep VirginExtras alive. I think that is the only reason the browser is even installed on the mtv phone.

that's what I'm hoping *crosses fingers*

Unless they stop virginextras or hunt you down it's not going to a go away

Every time somthing happens at VM and they dont know what the problem is they open an investigation. They've told me that a couple of times before.
