Which one would you prefer? I am looking for input from users that have owned both or operated both phones.

These are the key functions I am looking for:

1.) Side keys, being able to mute ringer when incoming call using the side button.
2.) Side keys, being able to forward incoming calls to voicemail using the side keys.
3.) Being able to assign a ringtone to private or withheld calls.
4.) RF
5.) Battery Life
6.) Customize menu.

Thanks for your input.

im usin a e715 right now and its really good....its weird u r comparin this phone to a gx 22...

e715 has really good rf for a dual band phone....side keys can mute ringers but the voice mail thing no...camera and screen r ok...gx 22 need a say more....its just the matter of budget and use

Nothing can compare to the gx22's screen.... but it has only 2MB of memory... a good amount larger than the e715....

I don't know a thing about the Inno 80 except that I heard that it has buggy software... just a rumor though.

Both GX20 and E715(J3 firmware) almost have the same life, both RF are great. The GX20 has icon style menu and the E715 have a different style(pages/folders).
The good thing about the GX20 and E715 is that you can upload the pictures to your computer with a .jpg extension. I hear that the Innostream phones have some weird extensions to their picture that nobody knows.

Well ive owned an INno 90 and a E715 so lets see. The E715 did have good reception, my own problem was that the ringtones when put to their highest volume were very distorted unlike most SAmsungs which reproduce highest volume just fine. THe Inno 90 is great too. It has super super loud ringers, can upload mp3s as ringers and it supports .jpg picture upload.

Yeah, the innostreams do upload pictures from phone to computer with a .jpg extension.
And also i don't think any of the phones you mentioned can "customize the menu" (if what you're talking about is relocating positions of the menu items)... motorola is the only phones i've seen so far that gives you that option.

I haven't used GX-22... just E715 and inno90 (same as inno80 but takes larger photos and different design), both phones are great, E715 has faster menus/sms... inno90 i think has better/louder ringtones. The displays are comparable btween the two. The E715's if you have the cable, the pc software is more user-friendly than innostream's (inno's is just too simple, not enuff functions other than up/downloading pics/sounds). Also, the inno's use the icon menu too like the GX22 in case you wonder. Both E715 and inno had great reception while i used them.

i tried out all three phones, but the e715 i only had it for a few days

gx22
this was a solid phone, what i thought it lacked in was audio volume. imcoming sound was way to quite and hard to hear while in a mall or a noisy environment,
the battery life lasted about 1.5days w/ moderate use
but the screen is nuts, no need to talk about that
the flash on the gx22 was also alot better then the flash on the e715

inno80
had this for about a week, the screen is not close to the gx22, its jus a little improvement over of the e715's screen. incoming and out going voulme and quality was good, BUT when im in my basement and it drops to one bar you wil start to hear echo's.

e715
solid rf, solid battery life, great audio, camera isnt the greatest, flash doesent do much, but a good phone for functionality

ah i didnt cover alot but ask me some questions if u need to

I've never used any sharp phones so i'll just comment on the other 2

Currently Using an Inno80. Have had no probs with reception, and the ring tones and vibrate.. wow, loud and i can actually feel the phone vibrating which is good.

RF not a problem at all, earpiece is always loud, which is good, and the overall features are great

Samsung
I did use the E700, and found it soo annoying. Each time i deleted a text message, the phone had to stop, play me a stupid bingybongy noise, just to tell me it was deleted... i hated that noise.
Also i found reception on the E700 very poor.

Screen differences, the E700 screen was really bad when comparing to the Inno 80. When i uploaded a jpg, the samsung, made it look all blocky, wereas the Inno, its just a wow factor..

The following features are very important to me:

If anyone know which phone has these features would be a bonus.

I am very heavy cell phone user.

In which phone could you do all of the following:

1.) Side keys, being able to silence ringer on incoming and also could divert the calls to voicemail if you press it the second time.

2.) Being able to assign a special ringtone to caller who block their caller id, also it would be nice if I could have the phone automatically forward the call to the voicemail if someone calls with their caller id blocked.

3.) Battery Life & RF

4.) Customize menus and other stuff like calculator, games and stuff.

Actually option 1 & 2 are very important too me. I have not seen anyone comment on those yet.

Thank you!

Also which phone do you think looks the best out of the three phones?

:P

Posted by: Joshivivek

Please feel free to comment on any other phones that fit the above feature better then the ones listed above.

Thank You!

The inno's, when you press the side volume key when a call's coming in, it diverts to voicemail right away (or gives a busy signal if you don't have voicemail)... and i'm very positive that the E715 does this also.
Neither the inno or the E715 can assign a different ringtone to a person with blocked caller-id (so far from my experience, only cdma phones i've used has been able to do that... a sanyo scp-5000, and telus' samsung ruby lets you choose different ringtones for ppl w/ blocked id's or w/o).
Like I and others have said, RF on the inno and E715 are great. Battery life are comparable. The inno's come w/ two batteries so it's good you'll have a spare handy. My inno90's slim battery lasts me a couple days w/ moderate use.
All the phones come with calculators, games, currency convertor... but none of them can customize the menu order in the way motorola phones can.
The inno's come w/ 4 built-in colour themes too. And you can choose whether or not to display the operator logo and the clock (op logo on/off, clock on/off independent of each other).
The E715 you can chg what colour the operator logo shows up in (ie. white w/ black shadow, solid black, yellow, red, etc) and can organize the menu to either show one page/menu item at a time, or 3 menu items at a time.

I personally think E715 and inno80 looks better, especially the black/gold inno80. GX-22 is nice, but a bit too plain looking for me.

Also which one of these phones have active flip?

Posted by: dkny_boi

All of them

Posted by: frankie

E715 and Inno80/90 both have active flip, i belived the gx-22 doesn't have this feature

Posted by: Joshivivek

GX22 can't answer calls when flip open, but it can end calls when you close it.
