bitpim +java apps

i finally got my cable from futuredial last night and set to work hacking around with my phone.
Using the vx6000 version of BITPIM (on my LG4600 -Cdn phone) i was able to download the datebook, but none of the other functions seemed to work.
So i went into the filesystem tab and started looking around in there. I figured out how to download walpapers and ringtones from my phone, which others have done as well, but it's the apps side of things that i'm really interested in.
I have two games i've downloaded on it now. Snood, and a free crosswords trial.
Browsing the directory that games are stored in (\amo i think it was), it seems each game directory is simply labeled 00, 01, 02 etc..
The files contained in the crosswords directory (which i dont mind screwing up are:
01.url
01.file
01.ico
01.jad
01.oma
There were a couple others, but i dont think they were related.
The .oma file seems to be the .jar object code, and the .jad is the same (i downloaded a version of tetris that someone made, containing tetris.jad and tetris.jar).
So i tried uploading the .jad and .jar files over the ones there. But when i tried to launch the app, java started, then went back to the GIN dir.
I edited the tetris.jad file to make it similar to the original crosswords one, but again no luck.
Leaving the tetris version of the jad file, i uploaded the crosswords .oma file back, and it worked. So the .jad file only seems to have information regarding the manufacturer, description and size.
I havent had a chance to hack at it some more, but it seems there must be a problem with the .jar (which i renamed to .oma) file i uploaded... its just not compatibile.
There we are, i'd just like to start this thread to see if anyone else can help figure out how to get java apps on the LG phones. I'm going to work on it more tonight, if anyone else is working on the same goal, maybe we can combine our efforts and figure this out!
