Any advice or websites would be good, THANKS!

This has been pretty thoroughly discussed. VM has all the MIME types for wallpapers/screensavers and games blocked, so you're not going to be able to download any of thes things via WAP. You can get wallpapers on your phone with a Data Cable, but games won't work because of the license files that BREW applications require to run. Unless you're gonna pay Qualcomm the bazillions of dollars they want for the BREW download server software that can generate ESN-specific license files, BREW games won't work.

I just made all my wallpapers PNG so they'd work with the slider, because someone told me it's the only format the slider will accept.

So are they working?

the SLIDER accepts 24-bit bmp files... and they have to be 128x116.... and have to be named bmp1, bmp2,bmp3 and so on... they must not be "BMP1.BMP", use command prompt to change the BMP file to just BMP1 or whatever, but it HAS to be BMP1, or 2, or 3........

My result with PNG files on a VM Slider is that they *do* work as Screensavers, but for some reason not as wallpapers. Doodler will show you the content of a PNG file just fine, and assigning them as Screensavers results in the image being displayed after a few seconds of inactivity. If you assign a PNG to be a wallpaper however, you get the same result as having no wallpaper at all. /shrug

You can name your picture whatever you want. But it has to be without the file extension. so if you have a pic named car.bmp, when you rename the file, you could name it car instead of car.bmp

intresting how do i make the png file i uploaded to my phone a screensaver... i took the extension off... and when i put it on my phone it shows up in the mypictures folder but i cant put it as a wallpaper or screensaver.... when i try it as a screensaver it pauses 4 a while "like its changing the screensaver" then it just goes back to the picture, but never really changes... and when i try to put it as a wallpaper it says wallpaper setting changed but shows up blank ( no wallpaper )..... so what am i forgetting??? oh yeah, can i put animations as screensavers???

yes I have the serial cable

My ONE slider-friend is telling me the same thing -- PNG files work as screen savers but not as wallpaper. Unfortunately, he's out of town, so I can't get my hands on his phone for a couple of weeks.
