How did u get the keypad to light up? Are there lights on the OEM keypad but you can't see them due to the faceplate?

There are lights on the keypad and you can see them w/ the default faceplate.

I have my default (OEM) everything in place and I have never had my keypad numbers light up. Does it have to be activated through a menu that I have overlooked?

Do you notice any drop in reception?

I have heard that one you move the antennas on Sony Ericssons it really messed up the reception on the phone.

i see no diff in reception
also, i have a chrome faceplate n battery cover, but couldnt find an antenna cover...
oh well, makes my infrared still work, my faceplate even had a small port on the top to keep infrared.

my keypad lights have always lit, extremely bright, n so have my friends' i think theres sumtin wrong if urs arent.
