I'm using Nec N8 (also known as e525) and want to connect it to my pc by irda_usb bafo bf-120 (it works well with my Nokia 3650).

I've installed MemoryEditor N8 but this software seem to only works with usb cable.

so is there anyone had done before, plz tell me how.
Thanks.

As far as I know, the IR only works between NEC phones.

I have tried to make it work between my 525 and my PDA or my laptop but no luck !

The FAQ for the 525 on the ATT forum/support site confirm that IR connectivity si not supported between phone and PC/PDA, only between NEC phones.

i am very close to solve this problem, i have a ThinkPad notebook and a Palm V PDA both with IR port and they work fine with my NEC 525, just manage files type and size (*.vcf) and ( >800 kb).
