Sanyo 5300 - Need to change my username in the phone

Okay, me and my wife just scored these phones yesterday when we changed service provider's to sprint. I got home charged it up and my username was "mywifesname830@sprintpcs.com" so I hoped onto the sprint site and changed my username password, said wait like 4 hours and everthying should be good to go.

This morning, everything is up to date with sprint, but whenever my phone tries to log onto the network it's still using the username i abandoned last night. I figured this would happen but now I'm runing into a roadblock trying to change it...

Is there a way I can manually change the phone's username, an unlock code to tweak the settings, do I need a data cable and unlock software to access this and/or should I just take it to the sprint store and make them do it for me?

I beleive there is a setting on the phone, in the web settings which allows you to update the phone's Vision profile. Have you tried that?

Okay, under the "Web" tab i have the following optoins:

My current usage
My invouidce
My plan
My content manger
Messaging
Dialing Codes
Help

all of them automatically try to authenticate as the old user name.

Under settings/Internet I have the option to Sign in/out of the old username but not set up a new one.

Under Phone Info:

Current User
Help
Version

going into current user, displays "wifesname830@sprintpcs.com"

Still no luck trying to change/add a user.

In settings there should be a PCS Vision choice. Click on that and you should see "Update Profile" along with "Net Guard"

Couldn't find it, wife woke up and just called them they helped us unlock the phone and dig into the settings to change it.
Wasn't easy had to ##3234 or something and go pretty deep to change it, guy said usually you gotta go to the sprint store.. heh
