The Firmware-Version is V06.

I flashed mine this morning...no issues to report. It was nerve-wracking only because if something went wrong I would've been screwed.

The camera seems to do better in low light conditions, but I will test it tonight. I was dismayed to have the snapshot application hang on startup still, as well as the periodic issue of the backlight not turning off still present.

But it's a step in the right directon, right?

Right! another plus is that the Menu is faster then in 05 and the Cache usage of the Browser was optimized. vast WAP2.0 pages are loading pretty fast! And very useful for German O2 users is that the homezone-indicator is now reliable...

I've noticed that the menus seem faster, which is very nice.

I did find that using the SDS to backup the phone wouldn't work without my MMC installed. I didn't need it backing up my MP3s so I thought I would just take the MMC out, and the SDS never detected the phone. Insert MMC and voila! PC detects phone.

I finally said phooey and just flashed it without backing it up. If it crashed I figured a backup wouldn't be terribly useful.

I have no problems with the PC-Connection. I'm using an infinion 128MB MMC.

I have a KingMax 256MB MMC and it works great. I just thought it was odd that the PC didn't detect the phone with thew MMC removed.

I do have some directories defaulted to the MMC (pictures, video) and maybe that's the reason. I'll have to ask around about this one.
