I can't seem to find it anywhere on the net .. I'm really interested towards getting one.

I have been using the Jabra with absolutely no problems. About $80 US

as long it works I guess, I tried connecting with my friend's Sony Ericsson HBH-60 or whatever, it didn't work.

I believe that the SE only works with their products. A friend of mine has the moto one and it works with his. Just remember, if you did not already know, that you have to pair it first.

not truth, SE is good in their connectivity. I have HBH-65 work wif my X70 perfectly, the prob is on X70, sigh, when the dial out not auto connect BT prob be solved...

It is not a problem/bug. It is not a feature. I agree that it is a pain and poor implementation, but that will never be fixed. The only way to have the BT on when dialing out is to use Voice Dial....which works pretty well.

I bought the HBH-65 to use with the X70 and it's horrible. I can receive MAYBE 1/5 calls that come in via the headset. The voice recognition on it for placing Voice Calls is terrible, and there is no feature to switch from dialing manually out of the phone, and then switching the audio to the headset.

I'm really disappointed since Bluetooth is meant to be universal, not brand specific. Too bad when I had my Sony Ericson t68i, the HBH-65 was flawless (i.e same brand works better!)

Sounds like you need the software upgrade for x70. I really have not had any problem since getting A30, Voicedial works very well...But with the original software BT was very hit or miss. ...Also, do not tout the t68i as the ideal bt mobile. When it first came out, it frequently lost sync with the headset and worse...when it did, you had to re-pair them. Every mobile has it's issues when it first comes out.

My only compaint is that you can not call from the handset in BT mode, you can only switch once the mobile is in session. Not a bug, just poor implementation.

How did you get the A30 firmware ? I'm going to need it .. but then , I have no way of getting the flashing and unlocking cable. I noticed that my X70 has many problems with the BT, it's hard to send files from phone to phone too. When I tried it with the HBH-60 it worked , but when I synced them together , I hear nothing on the earpiece.

sigh, I live in Canada.. we're so behind in mobile technology it's not funny. I got my X70 through a friend in Hong Kong. I might just go ahead and try out the Jabra or the Motorola headpieces, maybe it just has issues with that particular headset.

How do you check this. I saw in another post something about #9999#, but when I type this in nothing happens....when I click SEND it just says 'connection failed..retry'.....

p.s I think I'm going to try a Jabra too and hopefully that will solve the problem.....having to go buy cables etc just to flash this thing seems like a major hassle.

Posted by: lost_rebel

*#9999#....no send required but you must do this immediatly after power on! Keep hitting the end key until you get to the main screen and then enter it. When you hit the last # it will mask it and about 2 seconds will expire (making you think it is locked up) and then it will present you with the information

Posted by: FrankDrebin

doesn't work for me.....I try to to it right away and it just does the same thing as it does when I normally do it. I hit the end key when the panasonic welcome screen comes up, and get to the desktop and hit the #9999# keys, and it just goes to the normal dialing out window......

Posted by: lost_rebel

you forgot the * in front of the #9999#.
The whole sequence is:
*#9999#

Posted by: FrankDrebin

lol...me=putz.....got it now.....I guess from what others have been posting....its the last 3 letter/number sequence? i.e A19-19?

Now to find out how to get the cable etc

someone said ebay for the mobile action cable USB cable. have no idea how much
