I was wondering if there is a way to have an alert sound when you recieve a new email. I know that the Short Mail does. I currently have the Special Ed saying "I got Mail. Yay!...." Pretty funny.

Can you change something in settings to alert my phone when someone sends an email? Or should I just keep doing my work around that seems to work. I.e Send a picture to someone and when they reply it acts as if it is a shortmail message.

What you could do is to go to the sprint webpage, logon and go to messaging. You can have your SPCS mail forwarded to xxxxxxxxxx@messaging.sprintpcs.com and you will get the first part of your mail sent as a notification. This way, you can find out who it's from and read the first part of it.

I have the samething, that is so hilarious. Get some wierd looks from people in stores when an email arrives. HAHAHA
