If I was to purchase the data cable for the G51, would the Editor Tool for the GD87 work for me as well?

You can buy the data cables for the G51 and they claim you can find the software on the internet... but I have not had any luck.

Does anyone have some insight?

i dont think you can use the editor tool software with your g51 as it is for the the 87/88 series phones. i have tried looking for software for you as well but cant find anything. if i find anything i'll let you know.

You would figure that the software for any phone would be easy to locate.... I guess not...

phones not even made by the same company. AT commands probably not the same as the mobile phonebooks are probably setup differently...but you can always try.
