Unless my phone is a 'special' unit,

I'm sure you fellow 8900 owners have noticed how cheesy the charger connection is. It seems that all I had to do was walk past it and the thing will slide out of the phone!

Audiovox should've either made the diameter of the phone port a tiny bit smaller, or the diameter of the charger end a tiny bit bigger.

A simple fix to this is to put a really small amount (less than a drop) of super glue near the end, inside the indented ring that encircles the tip.

If you discover you have used too much, I'm sure an exacto blade would shave some off.

For those of you lacking common sense,

: LET THE GLUE DRY before inserting the charger in your phone!! (haha! that would make a VZW reps day)

I had 2 different 8900, and chargers don't slip out.... I think you have a "special unit"...

I have two 8900s and the chargers plug into the phones quite tightly. No chance of falling out. I can dangle the phones by the charger leads (though I don't do this a lot).

mine fits perfect man. u should exchange it if you stil can.

I've got 3 of them and they are all tight. I can talk on the phone with the charger plugged in and it won't fall out.
