PC Sync Software Problem

I have the data cable and I am trying to use PC Sync software (from LG), however it does not see the phone. BitPim and Digital Pimp see it just fine, any ideas/suggestions? I'd love to sync my Calendar and Contacts with Outlook using PC Sync, but no luck so far.

Seems like an easy $5/month solution that will solve my problem and eliminate the need for a cable and still keep my contacts and calendar in sync with my Outlook.
Would still be nice to find out why it won't work though!
