I brought a yellow package USB cable for GD88.
The orginal CD comes w/ it, I tried to install the edit tool.
But my IT cant install. do n e 1 knos wut's the problem?

download the Editor tool software from this link. it should work.

Oh one more thing. When transferring from phone to pc, the information that you want to send to PC must be moved into the phones "recieved folder" first.

anything sent to the phone from pc will also go in the "recieved folder"

I tried, but it still doesn't work.
I installed it, and it ask me to connect the handset properly or the hand set is on idle screen.

wut is idle screen?
and handset means the phone right?

yeah the idle screen is the screen with the carriers name on it. the main screen. and yes, handset is the phone. I believe with the usb cable, you need to install the necessary drivers or what not. i have the serial cable and have no problem using the pc editor tool software. i havent dipped into going into unlocking my phone with the cable since i wont be using it with any other carrier at the moment. in your case, you might have to install the usb drivers. this is probably why you are getting no connection.
