hey guys i just got my p800 this morning and found out that there were just some stuff that were already on the phone from the past owner...

and while i was looking through the phone control panels.. there was a button that said master reset.. now about this... i was about to do the master reset and it said "( media and application files will be deleted. but can be restored from the cd or web)"

now jsut wondering... if i do this would this reset every application including the stuff that was already on the phone stock?

like i just want to clear everything on the phone that was put in by him... and i just want the whole phone to be like new out of the box programs... so i was wondering if this master reset button would do what i want to do...

if there is anyone who has tried this... let me know thank you...

It will reset the phone to the original settings minus a few applications and files. those deleted applications and files can be found on the cd's.

o crap.. i dont have the cds... damn... this sucks booo...does anyone know where i could find the cds.... to buy? or if some one is selling theirs...?

hey rickpaul,

if i did this master reset all of the pics, videos, ringtones, and wutever i have downloaded on it will be deleted? but not any of the app.s that came with the phone right? i just really want to clean up everything and make the whole phone fresh... so i could go with a clean start...

and also right when i was about to do the master reset it says u can downlolad the stuff from the web?? where in the we can u go to download whatevery is needed? thanks

There are a few apps that come with the software load on the phone that are not backed up on the rom. Those apps will erase after a master reset.
