What Are The Top Ten Things To Put On A Sony P900?

Like, if you had one, fresh from a box, or just had one master reseted, what programs would you can not do without? I just find a hard time doing anything with one.

I'm looking for tons of games, applications, programs, and any other neat stuff you can do.

Please if you have the time, to provide general or specific links, that be VERY useful. Not just a website like my symbian, and tell me to do a search. I just want a well rounded list of watever!! You know what, just make it a top 20 things to put on it!!

Please impress me, i just want to see if there were any cool programs like they do on a Nokia 3650

Pardon a newbie question, I just tried Handy Day 2004 yesterday and really like it. However, it's got task switching and memory management in it, why would you use sman also? Am I mssing something?

Also I looked at Handy Desktop and like it slightly better than Handy Day for setting up favorite icons. Does anyone have any experience using or recommending Hand Desktop with a task switcher versus just using Handy Day?

cuz sman is much more powerful
allows for more utility functions..
and u can bluejack from it

also u got the drive hiarchy

i know everyone here has a hard-on for handy day, but also consider tracker 3.2

i prefer it over handy day and handy desktop; it's pretty much both those apps in one, plus it has customizable skins (i don't know jack about making a skin, so the prob is there's really no good skins out there that i really like)

it has a desktop function that allows you to place short cut icons to apps; and it has a today screen for calender/tasks/messages

however, i will agree with the herd: sman is a must-have

I think doing a top 10 would be too hard for me right now as I have 62 Apps installed at the moment and I use them all on a regular basis (If I don't use something, I uninstall it) but I can say for sure that both Tracker and Handy Day 2004 would be right up there.

Many people seem to think it's one or the other, but I use them together in harmony. The desktop section of Handy Day is quite pathetic compared to Tracker, where I have 6 pages which I use to launch all my apps. The Today view of Tracker is good enough to get a glance of all my activities for the day, but I always use Handy Day when I want to start planning, organising and adding appointments and tasks.

I would also have to say SMan is an absolute must. The task managing is far superior over any other Task Manager simply because of the "Snapshot" function.

While I'm at it; Oggplay, Worldmate, QuickOffice, PDF+, The Pad, Opera and IM+.

I also love my SMS setup with SMSTones+ and SMSReminder. When I receive a new message, I have a my alert set as "Peter, you have a new text message", then SMSTones kicks in and tells me who it is from, ie "Peter, you have a new text message.... from Richard Johns". And then if I miss that from some reason, SMSReminder kicks in and tells me again every few minutes with a new alert.

Either you're poking fun @ my name, or you're asking whether I am the same Bogus Jimmy who has a couple of hundred posts each @ Esato & My-Symbian. Well, if its the second option; the answer is yes.

Thanks for the welcome, even though I only have 5 posts (6 now) I have been registered for 4 months now and have been surfing this forum for probably a year now.

No, for me it's neither one. I don't see the point in using these enhancements. What's wrong with UIQ? I don't have any problems in organising my apps and starting them. And if I want a quick view of today's agenda I open the calendar in FC-mode or use SMan.
