Does anyone know how to change the itty-bitty teeny-weeny clock on the p900 without doing the firmware upgrade (couldnt get that to work).
i tried doing a search on here with no luck.
thanks.

I'm pretty sure that you can't - so you may want to try and update again. Hope it works this time.

You are welcome

i think not being able to self-flash is a bigger concern than the font size of the clock

Posted by: espionage

how do you place it in the folder directory???????

Posted by: The Rex

you need an app like symbianware fileman

send the file to your phone via ir/bt, then use fileman to move it to the right directory

Posted by: espionage

How do i upload it to my phone... "this file type is not allowed in the destination folder"

Posted by: The Rex

i just connected my phone to my pc via bt... then i sent the file to my phone... i viewed the file in messages, and saved it to pictures... then used fileman to move it to the directory

Posted by: espionage

what directory did u send the file to in hyour phone?

Posted by: The Rex

from pc to phone, it saves automatically in messages (beamed)... i then go to messages, and open the file... i then save it; it automatically saves in pictures (i select external)

then using fileman, i move it from d:\media files\image\unfiled to c;\system\data

hmmm... i dont have a B/T pc connection.. just docking station.

Posted by: The Rex

it's still possible using pc suite... just drag and drop the file onto the memory stick (it'll automatically save it to P900\Memory Stick\image\Unfiled

Posted by: espionage

ahh crap... i should have done that... i did something earlier and it fooked up my mem stick... i had to format it... shiet...

but thanks for putting up with me... it moved it now... thanks
