Info needed on display screen issues

I've read many reports in these forums regarding problems with screens going bad on Kyocera 2200 series handsets. Could someone give more details on exactly what symptoms appear.
I have a Kyocera 2325 handset and I've heard that all screen display issues were fixed in the 2300 series. Over the past few weeks, my 6 month old phone has had 3 instances where I take it out of my pocket and the screen is blank as if the phone is off. (My phone is always set to keyguard and screensaver which has a bouncing kyocera logo). As soon as I hit any button on the keypad the screen turns on again. This has never happened at all until recently.
