Alright I am sorry to do it to you but I usually can always figure out stuff and never have to ask. But this is getting me really frustrated...
All of the drivers are setup and the port is on COM3. The settings in bitpim say "This port is likely to be your phone." (note: I have tried all different ports but all of the same result) When i try to get data this is the error i get:

LG-VX6000 on COM3: The phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew.
Please i really need an answer, Even if you dont know an answer to this problem post back w/ some suggestions... Thanks alot.

I had the same problem. Try shutting down and removing the battery. Leave it out for about a minute. Power up and it should work.

My VX6000 is comm6 with Win XP home... That's using a Susteen usb/serial cable with bitpim.

yea make sure that bitpim says your phone is on COM3 (you know click browse next to the port, and see which one says your phone is installed on it), my phone also is on COM6, and that seems to be the typical COM from what I have seen in this forum.
I included a screenshot of what my COM settings are, thats what you are looking for to make sure your phone really is on the right COM port.

Sorry the file was too big to attach, so click the link to check out my COM setup. I think you will find when you get the right COM port, your's will look the same. Hope this helps.
