HELP! My P900 Crashed

Just a couple of days back, while starting up my P900, it hung on the Sony Ericsson Logo. Since then, it refuses to go past the SE Logo. I'm extremely frustrated, as this is a very high end device.

SE Support says they might take some time to replace my phone.

1. Is there any way I can backup the current data?

2. Is there any way for me to restore the phone, even if I had to lose data. I do not see any way to hard reset the device, or any technique for me to flash it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am very frustrated.

Have you ever done an update on the SE site?? If so I believe they have a restore opition that might help. This will only work if you have used the system update in the past.

Note that all of your data will be lost so I hope you have regular routine of backing up your phone, like every week.......

I have never done an update there, so I don't know what to do. The only option it seems is to send it in for repair.
