GPRS and R4A06

Didn't need GPRS for a while, so I didn't notice that after I upgraded to R4A06, GPRS stopped working.

Anyone else with this issue?

I'm hoping it's a problem with GPRS in my neighborhood, but I don't think so.

The problem is that the green GPRS triangle never turns on. The phone looks like it's trying to connect, but it never succeeds

Is there any way to revert back to R3A?

OK,

GPRS came back this morning, so apparently there was a GPRS outage in my area last night.

The thing with the new firmware is, that when GPRS is out, it simply doesn't report any errors, it just sits there or times out...

In the past, I got different types of errors...

About the globe thing. You see the globe when you're actively communicating (and the globe has various modes to indicate if you're in a call, if you're transferring data, etc.).

Above the signal meter, there's a small upside down blue triangle (not green, sorry) that turns on when you have GPRS attached to the network.

Mine works fine after the upgrade.

Anyway I haven't really noticed when I don't have GPRS reception if the GPRS signal strength indicator disappears, I've seen it sometimes change to white from blue.... then I don't have GPRS reception.
