Hi All,

Has anyone had the opportunity to use this phone/PDA as of yet?

Just got my configured on AT&T GSM. The phone works great.. I find the motorola PDA os to be easier to use.. especially the handwriting. You cant beat it for the size.only thing is I wish they made it with a color screen and metal case.

How's the size of the A388? Smaller than a Treo?

How in-depth are the PDA functions? Similar to Palm?

smaller than a treo.. about a little larger than a startac. The pim functions are similar to palm OS ... but the handwriting uses natural language vs palm graffiti.

If I may ask, how did you go about having AT & T hook it up?

I'm an AT & T GSM user in Chicago...

All you need to do is get your AT&T sim and plug it into the A388.
you would also need to configure the GPRS settings which are posted all over this forum. Let me know if you get one and you need help hooking it up

Hey,

I am thinking about getting the A388, but I can't find any information on whether it has a backlight or not. Can anyone say with certainty that it does?
