There have been numerous posts for ways to get free ring tones onto the 8900. Basically what I have found is there are a lot of web sites that let you "sample" the ring tone and if you can't "hear" it, then they give you the opportunity to download the ring tone as an MP3. At this point, after you download the MP3, and try to transfer it via:

http://www.vtext.com/customer_site/...p/login_mml.jsp

it will not let you. I have found that you can't transfer it as a file with an ".mp3" extension. SO, you have to simply change the extension from ".mp3" to ".midi" and it will allow you to upload the file and complete the transfer to the specified cell phone number. Works like a charm. Couple of additional notes, the Verizon site will not let you upload files more than about 75k.
